The Vinland chapter of the Grange was one of the oldest in Kansas and served the southern Douglas County community for over one hundred years. The building was deeded to the Santa Fe Trail Historical Society in 1985. The Vinland Fair was established by the Vinland Grange – an organization for local farmers.
